Digi-Key Electronics PDCe

Digi-Key Electronics has become one of the fastest-growing electronic component distributors in the world and the fifth-largest electronic component distributor in North America. ARI was involved in the design of Digi-Key Electronics' 2.2-million-square-foot product distribution center (PDC) expansion in Thief River Falls, MN. The PDC Building is a warehouse to store and distribute parts, making Digi-Key one of the ten largest warehouses in North America. Working with the Firm of Record, Widseth, ARI was responsible for all interior design elements, including custom wall graphics, wayfinding, signage, material & finish selections, FF&E and lighting design. In addition, ARI's architectural team added exterior finish selections and paint selections to the building's facade and assisted with reconfiguring exterior facade elements. 

The facility features a four-floor conveyor system comprising 27 miles of automated conveyor, sensor-activated LED lighting, and space for up to 3,400 employees.
