Project Background:

The Interior Design team at Architectural Resources, Inc. (ARI) was contracted to assist with the coordination of the interior finishes for the Giants Ridge Ski Chalet and Event Center.

Much like other buildings in our region, Giants Ridge wanted to tell a story with their interiors. ARI reviewed the existing architectural drawings and provided opportunities to enhance both the ambiance for the event center clientele as well as the public experience for the Ski Chalet.

Wall coverings were introduced to the space to bring in the colors of the ski hills and provide an opportunity to warm the massive event center space. Wood accents and local taconite stone was used around the fireplace and bar area to represent the resources of the region and compliment the existing exterior.  Ambient lighting and signage completed the details of the space.
