Range Regional Airport Hangar

ARI worked with the Architect of Record, RS&H, on the design of a new commercial airplane hangar at Range Regional Airport in Hibbing, MN. The hangar has a total area of 21,900 square feet and consists of two bays.

The primary lessee of the hangar is Premium Air, a private charter flying service based in Hibbing that offers flights throughout the country. Premium Air occupies approximately 13,000 square feet of the hangar, which includes corporate office and hangar space. The remaining area of the hangar is utilized by Range Regional Airport to accommodate transient aircraft and large corporate jets that frequently visit the area.

ARI's scope of work in this project included several aspects, such as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Interior Design. ARI also assisted with corporate branding efforts, analyzed local building codes to ensure compliance, and provided construction administration services to oversee the project's execution.
