Giants Ridge Ski Chalet

Working with LHB, the architect of record, ARI's Interior Design team was contracted to assist with the coordination of the interior finishes for the Giants Ridge Ski Chalet and Event Center. Much like other buildings in our region, Giants Ridge wanted to tell a story with their interiors to all who visited the space. ARI reviewed the existing architectural drawings and provided opportunities to enhance both the ambiance for the event center clientele as well as the public experience for the Ski Chalet.Wall coverings were introduced to the space to bring in the colors of the ski hills and provide an opportunity to break up the massive event center space. Wood accents and local taconite stone were used around the fireplace and bar area to represent the region's resources and complement the interior with the exterior spaces. Ambient lighting and signage completed the details of the interior space.
